Family work is important work. Let us support you in navigating the hard stuff.

Families can be hard. Even on the best days, we can grate at one another's nevers. On the worst, it can be scary. Let us support you and your family in finding a new way to be together; maybe one with clear communication and healthy boundaries.

Families are encouraged to participate in sessions when necessary with the youth, as studies have shown families to be the biggest influence as a change agent in a child’s mental health treatment.

We love working with families and use Adventure Therapy to bring a new approach to the work, while supporting your family in creating healthy boundaries, increase communication, and processing family struggles.

New Adventures Counseling resides within the Kemper Pond Office Park. This office park has been built on the native homeland of the Indigenous Algonquin speaking tribes, including the Hopewell Culture, Adena Culture, Kadkadkia, Shawnee, and Myaamia. We are constantly learning. If you have knowledge that shows this information to be incorrect, please let us know so we can honor and acknowledge those who rightly deserve it.

We acknowledge that Indigenous people around the globe face invisibility and erasure which compounds into other serious problems like cultural appropriation, minimizing, tokenizing, and devaluing humanity. The land we work, play and live on has a human history.
